Police action on agitating NHM employees condemned 3/14/2016 10:21:36 PM Doda, Mar 14: The Jammu and Kashmir National Health Mission (NHM) Employees have strongly condemned the Police cane charging over protesting NHM Employees in Lucknow (UP) yesterday in which scores of NHM Employees including female employees were injured. In a statement issued to the press, Spokesperson NHM Employees Association Jammu Division Faizan Ali Tramboo has strongly condemned and criticized the policies of UP Govt which is using repressive measures against the NHM Employees. Tramboo said that it is our democratic right to raise our voice peacefully to press for the fulfillment of our demands and the indiscriminate use of force against NHM Employees by the UP Police cannot deter us from continuing our struggle. Tramboo further alleged that Govt of UP is trying to gag the voice of NHM Employees who were projecting their long pending demand of regularization in a democratic manner and warned the UP Govt to shun the path of confrontation and resolve the genuine demands of our employees at an earliest instead of showering lathicharge on them. It is worthwhile to mention here that NHM Employees of India are working since 2005 onwards but sofar Govt of India and State Govts have failed to regularize their services thusby playing with their careers.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
