Samba, Mar 14: In order to mobilize and sensitize the masses at the grass root level, Directorate of Field Publicity (DFP), Ministry of Information &Broadcastion, GoI today organized a awareness programme over various flagships schemes of Government of India at Mansar.
According to press release, the objective of the programme to make the people aware about various schemes viz-a- viz; Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Beema Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and Skill India Mission.The programme was presided over by Sunil Kumar, Incharge, Field Publicity Unit, Poonch and Vikrem Uppal, Incharge Field Publicity Unit, Rajouri, DFP, J & K Region, whereas. Diwan Singh, Sarpunch, village Mansar and Medical Officer, PHC, Mansar were chief guest and guest of honour respectively on the occasion.
The programme was attended by a large number of audience including Teachers, Anganwadi Workers, Helpers, ASHA's, Panches, Sarpanches and others.
local people of the area besides and students of the host institution as well as students of Shishu Shiksha Niketan Academy, and Indira Memorial School, Mansar.
Prior to the main awareness programme, a health camp was also organized in which 45 children between the age group of 6 to 12 years were checked by a team of doctors. |
