AJKPA meets to Advisor Gov

JAMMU, Mar 14: A deputation of All Jammu and Kashmir Pensioners Association today met with Advisor of Governor, Prevez Dewan under the leadership of Madan Lal Abrol, the General Secretary of the Association and submitted a memorandum to him.
According to press release, the demands were discussed in detail which included removal of anomalies in SRO-94 dated 15-4-2009 qualifying service plus relaxation of this rule in order to protect from financial loss, grant of old age pension to the pensioners on Central Government pattern enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs.300 to Rs.1000 per month, and release of D.A at 6% from July 2015 .
They demanded immediately release of last and final 5th installment of 6th pay commission report's arrear in favour of employees and pensioners.
The prominent activists including Yash Paul Sanson, Jadgish Dogra, Ashok Bhasin, Bushan Pargal, Des Raj Sharma, Puran Chand Khajuria, Dr. Raj Kumar Gupta, Mohd Shaffi, Madan Lal Sharma were also part of the deputation.
Advisor assured them for redressal of all the genuine grievances on priority.
