RAMBAN, Mar 14: The Department of Higher Education, J&K organized a seminar on 'Truth & Non-Violence' at the Government Degree College (GDC), Ramban today. It was sponsored by the Gandhi Global Family of India.
As many as 12 students including two from the GDC, Gool spoke on the subject in English as well as Hindi.
Principal, GDC, Ramban, Prof Yudhveer Singh was the chief guest on the occasion in presence of various faculty members of the college. Prof Shehjan Ganai, moderated the seminar.
A local journalist, RK Kichlu who is also the member of Gandhi Global Family while speaking on the occasion quoted Gandhi said,"The eye for an eye attitude would make the whole world blind" and emphasized on the spiritual knowledge given by all religions to strengthen one's belief in truth and non-violence.
