Several Congress workers from Inderwal joined BJP

Kishtwar, Mar 27: Several Congress leaders from Chatroo area of Inderwal Kishtwar today deserted the Congress party and shifted its loyalty towards the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and joined the party at BJP Office Inderwal at Kuleed Kishtwar.
All the joining took place under the leadership of District President BJP Kishtwar Akshay Sharma in presence of Tariq Hussain Keen who welcome the newly joined people into party fold.
While speaking on this occasion Tariq Hussain Keen said that people of Inderwal had showed great support towards the BJP added that Congress party is losing the ground in the constituency due to poor people and selective policy. He said that under present leadership of Congress party, only selective people are getting benefits of the various government run schemes while majority of the people were left high and dry. He said that people are dejected with the Congress leadership and are reposing its faith on leadership of BJP. Keen said that BJP believes in equitable development of all the people and assured the newly joined people that party will provide them all support with regard to upliftment of poor and downtrodden society.
District President Akshay Sharma while welcoming them into party fold urged them to represent the genuine aspirations of poor people of respective areas added that party has come into power both in center and state on developmental slogans with an aim to work for betterment of poor people.
Those who joined include Chowdhary Bashir Ahmed, Chowdhary Mohammad Qasim son of Mangu Gujjar, Chowdhary Ailam Din, Mohammad Qasim son Fakera Gujjar, Nazir Ahmed, Habib Ullah, Noor Din, Rameen Din, Jamal Din all from Batwari Panchayat Chatroo B, Mohammad of Patni B and others. All the newly persons who joined BJP today at Kishtwar belongs to Congress party.
Among the prominent from BJP who were present on this occasion include Roshan Lal, Kishore Lal Shan, Farooq Ahmed Keen, Shanti Saroop, Chowdhary Mohammad Shafi Doae.
