93 teachers not paid salaries for five months 3/27/2016 11:34:31 PM Mohd Majid Malik Early Times Report DODA, Mar 27 : Newly appointed teachers of district Doda have not been paid their salaries for the last five months as they are posted against the post of masters . They alleged that it has become a habit for teachers now to insert an ATM card into the ATM slot and pull it back disappointed. "Don't authorities feel the plight of these teachers? Don't they know that these teachers too have families to feed? They too have children to fulfill their tender desires? They too have the right to live like other employees? Why this indifference towards the teachers?" asked an unpaid teacher. "The teachers are forced to borrow from their friends and relatives compromising their dignity, honor and reputation of the helpless teacher. They are being victimized due to fault of the department. The teachers are facing hardships due to non-release of wages," added Raj Kumar. Imtyiaz Ahmed, a teacher posted in Kellar area of Balla, Bhaderwah told, "Our salaries are pending for about five months and the department has no answer except assurances. "The civil society should also come forward to support the genuine demands of the nation builders and encourage them to serve the society better.
