Udhampur, Mar 27: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Gool under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi conducted a `Painting and Essay Writing Competition' for 170 students of different age groups at remote villages of Janwari, Dachan, Gool, Saldhar, Lancha and Bhimdassa.
The competition was held on the theme of 'Communal Harmony : Key to peaceful Jammu & Kashmir' and conducted with an aim to provide the students a platform to showcase their artistic talent, creativity and public speaking skills. The power of expression, zeal and knowledge displayed by the students highlighted their enthusiasm, confidence and understanding of contemporary issues of the society. A judges from the civil administration and Army awarded the young talents with prizes.The event gave the students an opportunity to showcase their talent and contribute towards their personality development. |
