Jammu, Mar 27: President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to direct the concerned high powered committee to expedite their recommendations at the earliest, so that confusion and uncertainty prevailing among both central/states governments' employees on this issue could come to an end.
Addressing a NMC meet here, Shastri pointed out that the recommendations of the 7th pay commission has to be implemented from January 1, 2016 but due to delay in finalizing the fresh recommendations, the lot of dissent and concerned is being expressed by the salaried class for continuing delay in genuine redressal of the grievances. He apprehended that the failure of state governments to implement the recommendations will pave the way for confrontations among the employees which in turn will be detrimental to the progress of the States. Among others who were present in the meeting included Rajan Babu Khajuria, B.S Jamwal, Sunil Kochhar, Darshan Bawa, Surinder Kumar, Sukhdev Singh, Sudesh Bhagat, Mohd Shafi, Raghupal, Ashok Kumar and others. |
