JKTF holds meeting, highlights demands | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 27: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held today under the Chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria State General Secretary of JKTF. In the meeting a threadbare discussion was made about the below mentioned problems being faced by the teaching fraternity: The raised the issues including that the masters of Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts who have completed 3 years in the districts of Reasi, Rajouri & erstwhile Doda District should be repatriated to their home districts without any further delay. Ganesh Khajuria showed grave concern on the part of the Education Department for using delaying tactics in issuing repatriation orders to masters duly facing mental and physical hardships even after completing 3 years of service as masters in far-flung areas. Due to delaying tactics of higher authorities particularly in Jammu Division, the teachers are being promoted as masters after completing more years of service than their counterparts in Kashmir Division and in result the masters of Jammu Division become Junior to the masters of Kashmir Division hampering further avenues of promotion as Head Master and Lecturers. Ganesh Khajuria urges to find out permanent solution of this problem by conducting regular and speedy DPC on the pattern of Kashmir Division so that justice is delivered to the all. |
