Jammu, Jun 1: Delhi Public School won a sweeping victory with four Gold, one Silver and four Bronze medals in the 15th Open Jammu District Fencing Championship organized by J K Amature Fencing Association at M A Stadium Yesterday.
Ragi Verma-VI G (Epec), Sarthak Gupta-V C (Sabra), Chanakya Sambyal VI H (Foil), Sahiban Singh IX E (Epec) won Gold Medals. Abhijaya Sandhu-VIII E (Sabre) won Silver Medal. Bronze Medals were received by Muskaan Soin-X F(Epec), Aryaman Mahajan-X K (Foil), Siddhant Raina-X J (Sabre) and Saksham Gupta X G (Epec). The Gold and Silver medal winners have qualified for the State Level which is going to be held later.
Principal Ruchi Chabra applauded the performance of all participants and wished them success for future events. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta also conveyed her best wishes to them. The team was escorted by Sabita Sharma. |
