Vikar, Lal Singh spar over transfer of surgeon 6/1/2016 11:29:11 PM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Srinagar, June 1: Congress Legislator from Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani and JK's Forest Minister Lal Singh today fight in the Legislative Assembly over the posting of the Surgeon in Banihal Hospital. Congress MLA during question hour in the Assembly toady raise the issue of non availability of Surgeon at Banihal Hospital since the former Health Minister Lal Singh transferred him and as per Congress MLA did not provide the replacement for the same even though former minister promises for the same in presence of late Mufti Mohammad sayeed. "You promise me in last assembly session that the surgeon will be posted in Banihal hospital-where is the surgeon and your's (Lal Singh) Rajput's promise" said Vikar Rasool which infuriated Lal Singh who started countering Congress MLA as a result of which both exchange heated arguments. "You last time told me it is the promise of Rajput men-where did your Rajputoon wala promise is"Vikar said questioning Lal Singh who told the Congress MLA that he was not a health minister now and seeks intervention of Speaker who replied back that he is well aware that you (Lal Singh) is a forest minister now. Before the issue started taking ugly turn, Health Minister Bali Baghat intervened and assured the Congress MLA that the doctor will be posted in shortest possible time at Banihal hospital. He agreed to the concern of Congress MLA that Batote to Banihal stretch of National Highway is highly accidental prone area along with Batote-Kishtwar road and also assured Congress MLA Ghulam Mohammad Saroori that doctors will be posted at Trauma center Thatri as was demanded by him.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
