Jammu, June 1: In a complaint filed by the representatives of Gujjar community against the J&K forest minister for his alleged act of using unparliamentary language against them, city judge M S Manhas today directed IGP, Jammu, to hold a probe into the incident. The Gujjars alleged that the minister had insulted them and asked them to leave his residence. They also alleged in their complaint that the minister had threatened them of their lives. The judge, after hearing the petitioners' counsel, said it was proper to send this complaint in terms of section 202 of CrPC and it was necessary that IGP should conduct an inquiry himself and the detailed report of the inquiry be submitted in this court within one month in a sealed cover. |
