Jammu, June 1: Extending undue favor to a blue eyed, Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) has awarded experiences certificate to an influential medico, without taking any classes. The favourite Medico was selected as Medical officer and placed as demonstrator in violation of directions of High Court. Sources told Early Times that a medico deployed in Anatomy Department of GMCH, as demonstrator has got experience certificate for the period, when she was not authorized to take classes.
As per the documents in the possession of Early Times, certificate of teaching experience has been issued for period between 1-8-2013 to 1-1-2015 vide GMC Jammu Principal & Dean order No. GMC/CS-7/2015/1049 dated 27-2-2015, whereas High Court has given interim relief only vide order dated 31-12-2013 to Dr. Mobeen Rasheed whereby she was allowed to work as demonstrator in GMC only after 31/12/2013, amounting to clear contempt of High Court Order. A source further claimed that Dr Mobeen Rasheed, was selected as Medical Officer (MO) in Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department vide Govt. Order No. 302 HME/2014 dated 13-06-2014.
"If Dr Mobeen was selected as MO in the H&ME then why she was placed as demonstrator when the Commissioner Secretary H&ME and Principal Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu in SWP 1961 filed objections and justified shortage of doctors for not allowing in service candidate as demonstrator in the light of Court directions.
