Land encroachment cases register increased in mendhar 6/2/2016 12:03:53 AM MS Nazki Poonch, June 1: Mendhar town of the district has been in news for the last two years with the active support of revenue officials sources said here today. There have been many case of land encroachment on this tehsil sources said here today. Which is said to be with the connivance of over staying revenue officials who are locals too and support activety in making fraudulent documents to the unsnarls elements against monetary benefits, sources said, adding the amazing thing is that it has been all going on under the nose of senior officials of the Revenue department including assistant Revenue commissioner (ACR) but as it seems, they are least bothered about it, they futher added. Early Times have been time and time again carrying such stories including making fake documents and tampering revenue records, for the last suit some time and its report were vindicated too In one such similar story where a person namely Khadin Hussain of Gohlad had changed the girdawari of one Kanals land under Khasra no. 555 at Mustafa Nagar, his brother namely Nazir Hussain made a complaint before the sub divisional Magistrate Thakur Sher Singh who caucused handed that integral (Registration) under No. 1107 was basically registered on some other person when it was shown fraudulently that Girdawari is made on the name of Khadim Hussain. The SDM took serious note of this fraud and directed Tehsildar Mendhar to stupilated time frame and initiate inquiry against the revenue officials who have been hand in glove with unsanplus elements for underservable favours.
