Katra, June 1: Delhi Public School, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University today organized investiture ceremony with pomp and show.

In presence of Principal DPS R K Verma & Head Mistress Vandna Sharma Head boy Ohm Kesar and the Head girl Veepasha Singh delivered the oath and took the pledge to hold school motto on the occasion.
The school cabinet for the session 2016-2017 is comprised of four houses namely Chenab, Jhelum, Ganga and Yamuna. House Captain - Prabal Gupta (Chenab House), Raghav Chargotra (Jhelum House) Gouri Dubey (Ganga House), Sucheta Deb (Yamuna House),Vice Captain - Kashish Bharti (Chenab House), Neha Sharma (Jhelum House), Rudr Kesar (Ganga House), Nasir Ali (Yamuna House), Sports Captain - Anikate Singh (Chenab House), Anmol Sharma (Jhelum House), Anurag Suri (Ganga House ), Ishant Bansotra (Yamuna House) Cultural Secretary - Dhanika Khajuria (Chenab House ), Sondary Dubey (Jhelum House), Sujagya Sharma (Ganga House ), Hemankshi Sharma (Yamuna House ).
In his words, the Principal of the school stressed the need to become more focused in their goals and to inculcate the value of honesty, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership as vital qualities.
The proceeding of programme was conducted by Dayal Ram Sports Incharge and the programme ended with National Anthem. |
