Jammu, Jun 1: In a bid to give opportunity to eligible aspirants who have applied for various advertised posts, Central University Jammu today interviewed them through social media, 'Skype' here at the Campus.
"Since 2011 recruitment process, this is for the first time Central University Jammu interviewed the applicants of outside country through Skype," Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University here said.
Prof Aima said the interviews for different faculty positions are being conducted through Skype so that the aspirants from outside the state and country, who had applied in various streams do not feel dejected of missing the chance to be interviewed.
"Many applicants miss the chance while not being present in the state but we do not want them to feel disappointed so they were informed accordingly to remain prepared and ready to get interviewed by battery of our academicians and educationalists," the VC said.
He however, said technology has made the life easier vis-a-vis helping such aspirants to participate in various activities being conducted by different educational institutions across the country. |
