Rajouri, June 1: Tightening the noose against bovine smugglers, police today foiled two bovine smuggling bids and rescued 12 bovines animals while two accused were held during the separate nakas at Darhali Bridge and in Lam locality of Rajouri district. According to police reports, Police team led by SHO Police Station Rajouri Inspr. Chaman Gorkha under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Rajouri Hamid Choudhary, laid a naka at Darhali Bridge Rajouri during the intervening night of May 31/June 1. "During naka checking Police seized a TATA mobile bearing registration No.JK-11- 8768 and rescued 8 bovine animals besides arresting two bovine smugglers who later disclosed their identity as Mohd Shabin s/o Abdul Rehman and Mohd Nazir s/o Mohd Shabin both hailing from Khablan" Police have registered a case under FIR No.325/2016 u/s 188 RPC, 3 PCA at P/S Rajouri and started further investigations in this regard. |
