Jammu, June 2: Determination to gain mastery in the discipline has translated into yellow belts for twenty talented karate enthusiasts of St. Mary's Infant Pre School (SMIPS) who were accorded warm felicitation by the school for emerging triumphant in the grading test conducted by Dhammika Kai Karate Association recently. The solemn ceremony to give fillip to the aspirations of the budding karatekas was marked by moments of amour propre as the blooming practitioners were vested with newfangled belts and certificates of appreciation in the benign presence of proud parents as well as representatives of the karate association. The event which was aimed at celebrating the upgradation of students to the next level in the art witnessed conferment of students for their dedicated endeavours in the field. Adrian Raj Anthony, Aadhira Sharma, Abheet Singh, Aden Asif, Anmol Indora, Arvind Angurana, Arya Vansh Singh, Arnav Rathore, Divyanka Kumari, Harshit Meena, Jasneh Kour, Lavanya Singh, Luvya Kashyap, Mannat Choudhary, Sabhya Kashyap, Siftpreet Kour, Suleman Khan, Utkarsh Mahajan, Gouranshi and Honey were among those who were ceremoniously feted with certificates and belts in the florid ceremony. |
