srinagar, Jan 30: The case registered against Younis Gul, son of the speaker, of the legislative assembly, Mubarak Gul, is gathering dust for the past four years as no action was taken against Younis, who was caught red-handed while copying in Jammu University's LLB examination in 2010.
As many as 28 chits were recovered from the possession of Younis but his father used his influence and ensured that no action is taken against his son.
Gul, who was the advisor of then chief minister Omar Abdullah, was elevated to the post of the speaker of the Legislative Assembly- the highest democratic institution in the state. Though, his son, Younis was arrested by a defiant Jammu University administration and a strong case was made against him, four years have passed and no action has been taken against him.
