Unprecedented: PDP MLC issues 'employment orders' on his letter pad CMO endorses 'appointments'; Govt assures probe 8/26/2015 12:13:27 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 25: In an unprecedented incident which can bring embarrassment to the alliance government and PDP in particular, Saifuddin Bhat MLC of the ruling party has issued employment orders on his letter pad to as many as 22 people for the posts of chowkidaars and sweepers in the Health department. Astonishingly, these orders have allegedly been endorsed by the CMO Budgam. No action has yet been taken against any official nor has the MLC been questioned about his entirely 'out of jurisdiction' step which is also contrary to commitment of his own Chief Minister to transparency and accountability in the system. Sources said Bhat who was made PDP MLC this year has gone out of way in issuing orders to employ as many persons in the Health department, apparently with a purpose to further political ambitions. Surprisingly, he has inscribed his letter pad with credentials as MLC Khansahib, oblivious of the fact that MLC doesn't represent any political constituency.
