Control fringe elements, CM to BJP, RSS
11/13/2015 12:17:08 AM
Early Times Report

jAMMU, Nov 12: The Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had told the BJP and the RSS to control fringe Hindu organizations to maintain communal harmony .
The CM had reportedly said that though the BJP was not involved in any act after the formation of the government but some fringe organisations are giving twist bordering ‘communal’ politics.
According to the sources, the CM has made it known to the senior central leadership of the both the BJP and the RSS that certain incidents have been reported in the Jammu where some fringe Hindu organisations tried to foment trouble which could create communal tension .
The CM had cited the incident of march in the Jammu city by such organisation just before the Dusshera where some very sensitive slogans were raised and it created a sense of ‘insecurity’ in the minorities of the Jammu city.
The CM had said some people wrongly presumed it to be a march of the RSS. “It shows that any act by any Hindu organisation is seen as an act of the Sangh, so it becomes very important for both the BJP and RSS that such elements are contained as they can bring bad name and could create problem for the government,” he had reportedly said.
The CM also reportedly cited some incidents which though involved some land disputes but the small minority population got the sense their voices were being ‘throttled’ on the ‘pressure’ by the government machinery.
“The opposition especially is looking for an opportunity to exploit any such situation unfolding and some political parties are trying to foment more troubles. But if the government is committed to do justice to all the sections of the state. the BJP and the Sangh have the added responsibility in it especially the later as some fringe elements take refugee to it for the wrong doings but it won’t be tolerated,” he had reportedly said.
