Sunderbani, Dec 16.: A Camp was organized under the banner of Zila Sainik Board Rajouri at Dak Bungalow Sunderbani in which the member of the board Major R S Thakur distributed rupees 60,000 among the widows, Ex. Serviceman and the families of medals holders. They also distributed prize money to the students who secure good marks in the board classes. The major R S Thakur told that the camp was organized so that the old aged peoples do not have to go 75 kilometers to Rajouri headquarters of Zilla Sainik Board.
He told that a sum of Rs. 24,000 distributed among the widows, other Rs.24,000 among the medals holders and RS.12,000 among the meritorious students. Meanwhile the MLC Nowshera Surinder Chowdary also joined the camp and took part in cheque distribution. Also Subedhar Rajinder Singh, SDM Kartar Singh, Tehsildhar Pankaj Sasan, SHO N S Jamwal and many others were present in the camp. |
