Kathua, Dec.16:- After repeatedly pointing out the encroachment in entire Sahar khud, few kms from Kalibari chowk, District Administration Kathua has taken serious step and constituted a committee under the supervision of Tehsildar Kathua vide order DCK/Hq/215-16/401-411, dated 11.12.2015 and ordered to demarcate Sahar land with the collaboration of Flood & Control department. DDC instructed that a number of complaints are pouring in regarding the encroachment in Sahar Khad passing through Villages Rakh Sarkar Plahi, Changran and Logate that must be demarcated and serious action must be taken against encroachers if any. District administration constituted committee wherein Avtar Singh Tehsildar Kathua will lead the team, Shamsher Singh & Subash Kumar both Naib Tehsildar of circle 6, 3&4 respectively, Bal Krishan, Mohd. Ismail, Krishan Dutt GQ circles, Raj Kumar, Md. Ashrad, Subash Chander all Patwaris will demarcate the land. While interacting to media, Subash Kumar Naib Tehsildar has confirmed the formulation of committee and has informed that Revenue department will demarcate the entire Sahar Khud and submit a report to DDC Kathua. He assured strict action against encroachment in the area. Kumar accepted encroachment of several Kanal lands in Sahar Khud. It is relevant to mention here that ET frequently highlighted the encroachment in several editions and tried to awake district administration about encroachment that occurred with the support of Revenue officers. DD Kathua ensured to take serious action against encroachers. Its ET's effort that District administration took serious steps to demarcate the land. |
