Agri. officers delegation calls on Chief Secretary | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec. 16: A delegation of All Jammu & Kashmir Agriculture Officers' Welfare Forum (AJKAOWF) today called on Chief Secretary, B.R Sharma and urged him for mitigation of unending difficulties of Agriculture Officers apprising him that the Administrative Department has failed to settle seniority/DPC/Time Bound Promotions /Re-organization and restructuring of Department/Repeal of faulty Service rules (1988) and allied matters pertaining to Agriculture Fraternity. Seniority/DPC of Officer Cadre since 1972 and because of laid-back approach of the Department, the retired officers are getting meager entry level pension. Even AG Office has blocked their gratuities pending DPC. The officers of agriculture officers are retiring on the same post on which they were recruited. They demanded one man one post system The delegation also apprised about the hard and continuous efforts of the field functionaries for the welfare of farming community despite meager facilities and poor working conditions. Chief Secretary gave a patient hearing and assured personal intervention to resolve the issues of agriculture cadre. Delegation comprised of Vijay Upadhaya (President), M. G.
