Sunderbani, Dec 16: The locals of village Kalideh and adjoining villages of Bhajwal area daily suffer from shortage of drinking water since more than ten days. The people today held a protest against the PHE for failing to provide smooth water supply to them. The villagers alleged that the Department is take no care to regularize the drinking water supply despite repeated appeals. On the other hand the PHE workers said that the electric pump was burned and shall be brought back after repair and regular supply of water shall be restored within two days. |
