Jammu, Dec 16: Mandeep Kaur, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) took a review of the functioning of engineering wing of JMC and stressed for maintaining the quality of work.
According to spokesperson, Mandeep Kaur, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation took a detailed review of functioning of engineering wing of Jammu Municipal Corporation which was also attended by R S Jamwal, KAS, Joint Commissioner (Adm), Kushal Chand, Joint Commissioner (Works), Executive Engineer (T) (C) & (E), along with AEEs & JEs. During the course of meeting Commissioner discussed various ongoing works and also issued directions to engineering wing for expediting the civil & electric works and completes the same within the stipulated time frame. She further stressed for maintaining the quality of work and asked the concerned that there should be no use of sub-standard material if anybody found doing so shall be viewed seriously and responsibility shall be fixed on the part of the concerned officer/ official.
The Commissioner also requested the general public to extend their valuable co-operation to Jammu Municipal Corporation so that developmental activities can be undertaken within the jurisdiction of JMC smoothly without any hindrances. |
