CTD-K realizes Rs 78 Cr revenue, registers growth of 25 pc | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 16: Commercial Taxes Department Kashmir Division has realized the revenue of Rs 78 crores in the current financial year and witnessed a growth rate of 25% approximately. The information was shared during a review meeting by Commissioner Baseer Ahmed Khan, held at Excise and Taxation complex, Solina, Rambagh, Srinagar today. Dr Shamim Ahmad, Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes, Kashmir informed that the Department has realized revenue of Rs 78.41 crores for the period ending October, 2015 and highlighted that the Department in Kashmir Division has achieved an increase of Rs 156.18 crores thereby registering a growth rate of 25% approximately. The Additional Commissioner also highlighted that there is an increase of Rs.99.55 crores, Rs. 55.48 crores and Rs. 1.14 crores under VAT, GST and CST thus registering a growth of 29.52%, 18.97% and 76.76% respectively. The Commissioner directed the Commercial Taxes Officers of Kashmir Division to complete the assessments, tax audits and settle the audit paras within the prescribed time frame. The meeting was also attended by Musheer Ahmad, Dy. Commissioner (Headquarters), Commercial Taxes Officers and other officials of the Department. |
