Jammu, Dec 16: Students from IX class of Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib visited Manda to observe and study group of animals. Teachers Sachin, B D Sharma, Esha and Jyoti Gupta escorted the students and gave them details about the origin, genetic relationship and behavior of the animals living there. A day's visit would enhance the general information of the students about the animal kingdom and also would help in understanding the phylogeny of organisms. Director Ecological and Environment department O P Sharma along with his team addressed the students and briefed them about Manda Zoo and how the animals are taken care of. The visit was fruitful and informative. |
