PRB releases schedule for conduct of physical tests for constables in Jammu Province

JAMMU, Dec 16: For recruitment of constables in Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Police Recruitment Board (PRB) has formulated the schedule for conduct of Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) in Jammu Province, starting January 7, 2016 at all district headquarters. As per the schedule, admit cards of all candidates shall be sent to their respective postal addresses through speed post. In case a candidate does not receive the admit card on the given address, the same could be downloaded at the J&K Police website, http:/www.jkpolice.gov.in. All applicants conforming to the educational, physical and other required standards prescribed in the advertisement issued, are advised to strictly adhere to the scheduled date, time and venue and also comply to instructions given in the admit card. The candidates shall also bring their testimonials including qualification/age/PRC reserved category certificate etc, in original along with the admit card on the given date. Candidates are advised to be sure of their conformity to the required physical and other standards before participating in the said tests. The candidates are advised to stick to the published schedule for each district and should report at the respective venues earmarked for that district they have applied for, which shall not be altered or changed.
