UDC expresses gratitude to Dr Jitendra 1/11/2016 10:10:27 PM Early times Report Udhampur, Jan 11: Udhampur Development Council (UDC), a social organization showed their gratitude to Dr. Jitendra Singh union minister of state in PMO with independent charge of north eastern states for conceding the much awaited proposal for cleaning sacred River Devika by union ministry of environment which was announced by Dr. Jitendra Singh last weak while addressing a massive rally at Udhampur. Briefing media persons about the PMO coming forward for protection of river Devika and including the same under Government of India's ''National River Conservation Plan'' Anil paba and Parvesh Parihar president and general secretary UDC, said that a memorandum regarding protection and preservation of river Devika and its tributary Dudh Ganga along other developmental related issues was sent to PMO office, ministry of water resources, river development and Ganga rejuvenation Indus wing and union ministry of environment,f orest and climate change few months back.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
