| 'Police Public' meetings held at Koura, Chassana | | |

Reasi, Jan 11: To strengthen the police public relations and to bring people nearer to the Police for better output in prevention, detection of crime and solve the problems of general public, two simultaneous police public meetings were held on the directions of Sujit Kumar, SSP Reasi.
According to police spokesperson, a police public meeting was held at village Karua of Tehsil Reasi by ASI Mohd Shafi I/C Beat, under the supervision of Inspector Romal Singh, SHO P/S Reasi and Sanjay Singh Rana, Addl.SP Reasi.
Another similar public meeting held at Police Station Chassana by SI Jasvinder Chaudhary, SHO P/S Chassana under the supervision of Ayaz Ahmed, SDPO Mahore and Sanjay Singh Rana, Addl SP Reasi in which large number of prominent persons of the area participated.
Locals in the meeting appreciated the effort of police in these areas to maintain law and order and they also assured their full support in tackling any unlawful or untoward incident. Meantime various public issues and problems raised by the participants were discussed in these meetings pertaining to different departments. Senior Police officials after listening grievances of participants assured that their genuine demands will be communicated to the concerned senior officers for redressal. |
