27th Road Safety week begins 1/11/2016 10:12:04 PM Early Times Report KATHUA, Jan11: 27th Road Safety Week organized by Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) with the theme' Road Safety- Time for Action' began here today in the premises of Regional Transport Office, Kathua. RTO Kathua Amarjeet Singh informed that the week is being celebrated across the country including district Kathua wherein series of awareness programmes are being organized to minimize road incidents and to aware the commuters about road safety rules for their well-being. RTO Kathua informed that 1, 37423 died while 4,69882 got seriously injured in road accidents whereas 4,43001 road clashes incident occurred in previous year due to lack of awareness and violations of traffic rules.
