1/11/2016 10:12:28 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 11: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) leaders and activists held a meeting to discuss the present political situation of the J&K state, developed after the death of former Chief Minister of J&K, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on January 7, 2016.
Kundan Kashmiri KPC Chief while addressing the party activists meeting, re-called the past deceiving and mischievous record of PDP , urged the party high command of BJP to snap its ties with the PDP and direct the state unit of the BJP to function as an effective opposition in the state to counter the divisive politics of the Kashmiri political parties. At the same time he criticized and snubbed those BJP ministers in the Mufti government, who want status-quo and to continue as Ministers for their selfish interests, while ignoring the interests of nation and nationalist people of the country, in particular Jammuities, Kashmiri Pandits, Ladakhis and others. .
KPC President further revealed that an overwhelming majority of the people of the J&K state are of the firm opinion and view that the BJP--PDP alliance was neither in the interest of J&K state nor in the interest of the country and already rejected" agenda of alliance" was complete surrender and compromise with larger interests of the nation in general and J&K state in particular.
