| EJAC holds day long convention | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 11: A day long convention of the State Government Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) was held on Monday in Jammu under the presidium of the senior leaders of the organization. Sushil Sudan, Ajaz Ahmad Khan and Subash Verma.
According to press release, the convention was started by observing two minutes silence prayer to pay homage to Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir .
In the convention the long pending demands of the state government employees/ Public sectors have been discussed threadbare such as regularization of all sorts of daily wagers after 5 years, releasing of 6 percent DA due since July,2015, enhancement of medical allowance to Rs. 2000/- lump per month, removal of Pay Anomalies of Clerical Cadre and others, providing of dislocation allowance, and many others.
The SGEJAC further chalked out the strategy to strengthen its rank and file before to jump into any employees struggle in future. |
