NMAET organizes training programme 1/11/2016 10:12:54 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 11: One day training programme was organized in On Farm School at village Khadergal, Block Bari Brahmana, District Samba under National Mission On Agricultural Extension and Technology. Numbers of farmers participated in training programme of the On Farm School. Project Director (NMAET) V. K. Bhushan made aware the farmers regarding importance of each training programme and advised the farmers to adopt scientific based technology for better production and productivity. Dy. Project Director (NMAET) Ashok Gupta reviewed the feedback regarding the impact of first training programme with the participants and advised them to interact without any hesitation with the experts visiting in the on Farm School. The aim of this programme was to aware the farmers practically as well as theoretically which is the need of the hour. In his technical message to the farmers he advised farmers not to dump cow dung here and there in the field and make its best use by converting cow dung into vermicompost and vermiwash technology. Relevant literature was also provided to participants of the on Farm School.
