NEW DELHI, Jan 11 : Natrang's highly acclaimed children play 'Aap Humare Hai Kaun' written and directed by Balwant Thakur outshined at National Festival of Contemporary theatre practices, traditions and diverse expressions of India being held at Meghdoot Complex, Rabindra Bhawan, New Delhi. Organized by National Academy of Music, Dance and Drama i.e Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi, this National Theatre Festival featured only one play by Children amongst the 45 other participations of contemporary, traditional and diverse cultural expressions of India. A thirty member children group of Jammu distinctively performed outstandingly, thus bringing pride for Natrang Jammu in particular and the State of Jammu and Kashmir in general. This play has already made history by being the longest living theatre play by Children in India which has been performed for over 200 times covering the entire length and breadth of the country since 1994. The proud Jammu children who participated in the play included Juhi Singh, Gopi Sharma, Sanchita Dubey, Sanyam Gupta, Shreya Gupta, Agam Kaur, Mihir Gujral, Manya Gujral, Sanya Gupta, Asma Gul, Ayn Bhola, Chander Pratap Singh Bhau, Chirag Anand, Sanvi Anand, Riya Jandial, Saba Jamwal, Shivangini Sharma, Divyan Sharma, Sahil Singh Anand, Sanket Bhagat and Rudra Kohli. |
