PDD fails to replace damaged transformer in Belicharana area 1/21/2016 12:12:29 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 20: The Gujjar and Bakkerwal Union State President Choudhary Nazakat Khatana in a press release said that the people of Belicharana Doda Basti are lacking transformer which is damaged from last one week and the whole locality is living in darkness despite being only 01Km away from main Jammu city. He further added that the residents of Belicharana Doda Basti (Jammu) situated 1Km away from the Jammu city are up in arms against the authorities for failing to provide new Electric Transformer. According to the villagers the erratic power supply due to damaged transformer presents a picture of ignorance by PDD officials and the Government. From last one week, the damaged transformer is still not changed and no authority has even lifted the same. The villagers have also complained to department concerned but nothing has been done so far by the department, alleged Ch. Khatana.
