Kidnapped Kishtwar girl traced from Jammu, accused held

Kishtwar, Feb 29: Kishtwar Police claimed to have recovered a missing Kuntwara girl from Jammu and arrested the youth involved in the case.
"The accused has been identified as Amrik Singh Baghat son of Sukhdev Singh R/0 Balgran Kishtwar, police sources said.
As per the details available with "Early Times" acting on input about the presence of the kidnapped girl in Jammu, a team of Kishtwar police under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar with the help of Jammu police successfully managed to nab the above mentioned accused and recued the abducted girl from his clutches.
"As case FIR No. 37/2016 under section 366/109 RPC stands registered at police station Kishtwar. Sources said
Police sources said, "The accused is said to be a married person and the girl reportedly told the police that she had eloped with accused as per her own will."
"The police will be producing the girl in the court for recording her statement before the judge, sources said.
