After dance with Ranveer, Dr Abdullah sings Lag ja galay ki phir yeh… | | | Early Times Report srinagar, Feb 29: After setting the dance floor on fire during his encounter with Bollywood star Ranveer Singh earlier this month, former Chief Minister and National Conference patron Dr Farooq Abdullah has again dropped a bombshell of entertainment. In the latest, his video of singing a yesteryear romantic duet "Lag Ja Galay Kay Phir Ye Hasin" has gone viral on social networks. The video believed to be recently filmed at a marriage function in Jammu, finds Dr Abdullah singing the duet in his typically melodious voice with full-orchestra in the background. Among others his old loyalist and former Chief Secretary Vijay Bakaya is also seen in the video, which is trending on the Facebook and Twitter. Interestingly, Bakaya has also shared the video link on his wall, while subsequently during the day it spread like wildfire. Earlier this month on February 3, Dr Abdullah showed some of his finest dance moves in the national capital with Bollywood star Ranveer Singh on the tunes of "Malhari" from Baji Rao Mastani. The duo's impromptu dance came as a surprise for the audience, including Omar Abdullah who was also present on the occasion. That video had also gone viral and equally hogged the headlines. Interesting, PDP spokesman Naeem Akhter had hailed his bete noir Dr Abdullah for the remarkable performance saying Masha Allah Nazar Na Lagay. In the recent past, Dr Abdullah has been candidly admitting that rather than a politician he would "love to be an actor. Prior to eruption of militancy, the enigmatic Abdullah would make it to gossip world for dating divas like Rekha and Shabana Azmi. Years on, he continues to steal the show. Even during the '1990s, he once teased the then sizzler Mamta Kulkarnee during a stage performance saying "Tujh Ko Mirchi Lagi Tao Mein Kya Karun." |
