Early Times Report

Jammu, Feb 29: After facing humiliating defeat in last assembly elections, several National Conference leaders are adopting various tactics to remain relevant in political scene. A self proclaimed student leader, has reportedly shifted his focus from Jammu University to Central University of Jammu for personal benefits including job and contracts.
Sources told Early Times that the self proclaimed leader is sending press releases, filing RTI applications and holding press conferences to threaten the varsity administration have failed to yield any positive result for this blackmailer. "Refusal of Vice Chancellor to succumb under his pressure came as a shock for this unscrupulous fellow, who also had to loose his contractual job and some contracts got by his cohorts in university", sources said.
Sources further informed that though one of his companions had secured a job in Jammu University by blackmailing former Vice Chancellor and through back door channel, but the incumbent VC has refused to budge. "On instructions of NC patrons and some companions of this crooked NC man has now shifted his channel to Central University of Jammu", sources said, adding that the first step to execute the new strategy, taken by this so-called leader, was taking the reins of a Forum in his hand by installing himself as new president recently.
Sources said that earlier this guy had been operating behind the curtain to spread chaos in the varsity, which was pivotal to realize his designs of blackmailing and securing contracts, jobs for his blue-eyed and seats in M.Phil and Ph.D courses. "Now running short of money to pay the remuneration to paid student leaders of his Forum, this unemployed conspirator has himself taken charge by holding a press conference", sources said.
They further informed that according to the new strategy, this NC backed leader has already filed umpteen RTI's in Central University of Jammu and was conspiring with few of his close-aides, who are former JU officials to strengthen his network, which would be the backbone to blackmail, the CUJ administration.
Sources further said that one of the well wisher in CUJ has been working on all possibilities to create a feasible ground for his entry to the campus on a regular post. "Taking the cue from his Jammu University's past practice of making several so called secular student/scholar/women organizations with different names, this guy is trying to do it here", they said.
