Students of CUJ take mass pledges for cleanliness drive

Jammu, Feb 29 : Central University of Jammu today organized mass pledges of students, faculty and staff at its Temporary Academic Block (TAB), Jammu, under mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
According to press release, the students, faculty and staff of CUJ assembled at the front lawn of the TAB and take pledge of cleanliness and become part of social change.
Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, encouraged the students, faculty and staff members to give atleast 2 hours in a week for cleanliness and become part of "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan".
He emphasizes that only collective efforts will pave the way to cleaner India and ask the students to shoulder their responsibility for taking this campaign to its logical end.
Prof. Lokesh Verma, Academic Coordinator of CUJ read the pledge to students, faculty and staff members of Central University of Jammu.
Later, Vice chancellor along with other faculty, students and staff members took a broom and started cleaning the path of the Temporary Academic Block (TAB), Central University of Jammu.
