PDD employee electrocuted 2/29/2016 11:02:41 PM Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Feb 29: An employee of the Power Development Department (PDD) was killed when he got in contact with a live wire, while repairing an electric transformer in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, official sources said here today. They said a lineman of PDD identified as Khursheed Ahmad Bhat was repairing an electric transformer at village Chattibanday Aragam when he suddenly got in contact with a live wire. He was killed instantly, they said, adding hundreds of locals later hit the streets alleging that despite prior information the switches were put on at Grid station when the repair work was still going on.
