JAMMU, Feb 29 : A farewell party was given to the outgoing students of Class 10th of Alexander Memorial School (AMS) here today by the Alexian Family. Rev. Udai Singh, Presbyter-incharge St. Paul's Church, Residency Road, ID Soni, State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides, SM Gill, Ex MLC, Sneh Bali and several other members of the management graced the occasion. The students of class IX enthralled the audience by presenting a colourful cultural programme comprising dance, music and songs which was highly appreciated by all. The Principal, Mrs. Esther William, welcomed the guests and Rev. Udai Singh gave an impressive sermon befitting the occasion. After a tough Quiz Competition, Ishika Bhatti and Master Aviral Koul were selected as Miss Alexian and Master Alexian 2016. They were duly crowned by the Principal and the guests and the whole campus resounded with lusty cheers. Master Pankaj Kumar, Asiaya Parveen and Master Aviral Koul were given certificates of merit and cash prizes for excellence in Computer Literacy Programme. |
