Jammu, Feb 29 : The students of Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) today interacted with senior scientists at Jammu University on the occasion of 'National Science Day'.
The event was celebrated to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by Noble Laureate Sir Chander Shekhar Venkatramanan.
The aim of the event was to acquaint the participants with latest technologies, state of the art equipments/ instruments, and provide a perfect platform to inquisitive minds for interaction with internationally renowned scientists, scholars and eminent researchers. Senior faculty members Dr. Sumit Sanotra, COD, Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities, Rohit Gupta were present on the occasion. Er Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI, Th Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, JGEI, and Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI, sent best wishes to the students urging them to make best use of the professional opportunities extended to them in J&K and beyond to meet future challenges in their professional career. |
