| Udhmapur, Feb 29: The NSS units of Govt Degree College Udhampur in collaboration with Shri Guru Nanak Dev Charitable Society (SGNDC) Jallandhar organized awareness lecture on drug abuse. Dr N A Hakeem from SGNDC was the Chief Resource Person. He explained in detail about the harmful effects of smoking, consumption of alcohol and other related intoxicants. He advised the students not to indulge in such activities as they not only harmful to the health but also affects the society in general and to the family in particular. On this occasion, besides Dr. Udhey Bhanu, Prof. Suresh Dogra (NSS Programme Officers), Prof. Kamal Kishore, Dr. Ajay Kr. Sharma were also present. |
