Governor sets 15th April deadline for High Level Committee on Casual/ Seasonal workers | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 16: On the directions of Governor N.N Vohra, the State Government has constituted a High Level Committee to look into the financial, legal, administrative and other problems which may relate to the regularization of Casual Workers. The Committee will work out an appropriate policy in this regard. The Committee, headed by the Chief Secretary, comprises Secretaries of the Home, Finance, General Administration Department, Law Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Department and Director (Codes) is its Member Secretary. The Governor has directed the Chief Secretary to finalise the Committee's report by 15th April 2016.It is pertinent to recall that the Governor has already directed that the process of regularization of eligible daily wagers and those engaged on contractual basis should be expedited and also directed that no fresh casual/seasonal labourer shall be allowed to be engaged by any Department or State owned PSU.
Pvt School's association thanks Dir School Education Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 16: A meeting of Pvt. SchooI's association was held under the chairmanship of Kamal Gupta. The association thanked the director school Education for smooth conducting of Annual Examinations of Pvt. Schools. A Deputation of Pvt. School headed by Kamal Gupta President of the association met Director School Education last month regarding waving off NOCs from Municipal Corporation and traffic Police but nothing has been done till date. The inspection files up to eighth class are pending in CEO's office and are gathering dust. The Private Schools are facing hardships especially while upgrading to 9th class. Kamal Gupta appealed to the Governor of J&K to intervene into the problems of Pvt. Schools and resolve them as earlier as possible. |
