Early Times Report

JAMMU, Mar 16: Notwithstanding the tall claims of e-governance, much-hyped government website has failed to update the names of incumbent Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of the several districts of Jammu province.
The website http://divcomjammu.gov.in has a particular column contact DCs where the list of all the DCs of Jammu province is present but it's really astonishing to note the scores of DCs are being shown predecessor of the incumbent ones.
The outdated list has punctured the tall claims of the administration that JK has moved towards e-governance.
"Contact DCs column in the website shows the Kishtwar DC is Mohammad Javid khan instead of G N Bhalwan, Farooq Shah as DC Ramban instead of Bashir Ahmed Dar, Ajay Singh Jamwal as DC Kathua instead of Ramesh Kumar,. Deepti Uppal as DC Rajouri instead of Shabir Ahmed Bhat and shows DC Poonch as Nisar Ahmed Wani instead of Mohammad Harun Malik".
