'Send Basit back, shut Pak HC down' | | | Early Times Report jammu, Mar 16: Pakistan has done it again. It has invited all the Pakistan parrots in Kashmir to attend the Pak day celebrations to be held in New Delhi. The Kashmiri separatists, who have been invited by the Pakistan High Commissioner in Delhi Abdul Basit, soon after getting the invitation issued press statements to announce that they have been invited by their "Boss," Abdul Basit, who represents Pakistan in India. An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "Pakistan knows it very well that since the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken over the reins of the country he has made it clear that separatists are non-entities and talks cannot be held with them till they accept that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India." He said, "India called off talks twice with Pakistan as their representatives who visited India insisted that they would hold the talks with separatists. Pakistan not showing any concern towards the issues raised by India shows its highhandedness and it taking India for granted." A defence analyst said, "India needs to take stand and make certain things clear to Pakistan. We allowing Pakistan off the hook has made the neighbouring country believe that they can get away with anything. Had our political leadership shown the will and taken stern action against Pakistan soon after the terrorists attacked the Pathankot airbase it would have acted as a deterrent." He said, "If we keep on allowing Pakistan to take on liberties it would not a leave any chance to bleed us. Inviting their stooges (separatists) to attend the Pak day celebrations is really an insult for us. It's high time we wake up and hit back." The Kashmiri separatists usually make a beeline at Pakistan High Commission whenever they get a chance as they don't want to annoy their bosses who are sitting across the Line of Control. "If they (separatists) are in so much of love with Pakistan they should take a political asylum in Pakistan and stay there. Indian Government should book them (separatists) for sedition and put them behind the bars till they mend their ways," said an analyst. A politician said, "India should not hold talks with Pakistan at any level till it stops encouraging terror and separatists. Why should we talk to Pakistan and be friendly with them if they are least bothered about our concerns. All diplomatic ties should be snapped with Pakistan and the Pakistan High Commissioner in Delhi should be sent back. We cannot allow Pakistan to add insult to our injuries. We had enough. Time has come to show Pakistan and its stooges their real place." |
