Jammu, June 9: At least 23 people got injured in separate road accidents across Jammu region.
"Eighteen people got injured, 12 critically when a tempo they were travelling in this morning skidded off and rolled down on the road near Mansar Morh," police here said.
They said that the vehicle was coming from village Nanga, Ramgarh and on way towards Mansar.
Twelve critically injured have been rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu while those with minor injuries have been admitted to district hospital.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a speed driven bus turned turtle this morning near Miran Sahib area on city outskirts here. "The bus was on way from R S Pura to Jammu when met with an accident," police said.
They said that five passengers got injured and they have been hospitalised. |
