Govt to issue ration cards from June 19 6/9/2016 11:43:15 PM Srinagar, June 09 The Government will start the process of issuance of new Ration Cards to consumers from 19 of this month. This was revealed by Minister Ali while chairing a review meeting convened here today to review the functioning of the department and preparation made for issuance of New ration cards to the consumers. The Minister said that commencement of issuance of New Ration Cards will start onJune 19 from Jammu and Kashmir from June 20. The Minister said that the Deputy Commissioners of the respective districts would monitor and ensure that the process of ration card issuance is completed in organized and hassle free manner. He said that people should pay the amount that is printed on the ration cards. Seeking details for the arrangements made by CA&PD for starting of Mufit Mohammad Syeed Food Entitlement Scheme in July, the Minister asked all the concerned to expedite the procurement process and take all necessary steps in order to make sure that the scheme is launched on due date.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
